We run a weekly youth club generously funded by The National Lottery Community Fund. Their support allows us to extend our work across Havering, offering after‑school support and activities for children and young people.
In Barking and Dagenham, we’re focusing our delivery in Northbury Ward, running a series of targeted workshops funded through our partnership with Lifeline Projects. These sessions support both the adults around young people and young people themselves.

In Barking and Dagenham, we’re focusing our delivery in Northbury Ward, running a series of targeted workshops funded through our partnership with Lifeline Projects. These sessions support both the adults around young people and young people themselves.
Workshops will cover gang awareness, grooming, county lines, exploitation, online safety, social media and apps, and the manosphere — all designed to strengthen safeguarding knowledge, build confidence and equip the community to better protect and support local young people.

Our Saturday Socials Youth Club is all about giving young people a place to belong, play, create and thrive — completely free of charge. Each week we bring a mix of high‑energy activities and chilled creative spaces so every young person can find something they love. There’s arts and crafts, an adventure playground where kids can run wild, outdoor games, structured football coaching, boxing‑fitness, and hands‑on workshops that build confidence and life skills. Indoors, young people can dive into quizzes, board games, table tennis, creative and wellbeing sessions (like art, music and mindfulness), plus informal mentoring, social time and healthy snacks to keep the energy up. It’s a safe, welcoming space where fun, friendship and community come first.
Saturday Socials runs every Saturday from 9am–2pm at Living Space Community Centre, 1 Coral Street, Waterloo, SE1 7BE. It’s open to all children and young people aged 10–18.
There are no postcode restrictions — you don’t need to live locally. Any young person can turn up, get involved and enjoy five hours of free, open‑access youth work in a safe, inclusive environment.
Saturday Socials isn’t just about activities — it’s about growth, confidence and connection. Young people build new skills, discover creative interests, develop positive routines, and strengthen their physical and emotional wellbeing. Through games, workshops and mentoring, they learn teamwork, communication, resilience and problem‑solving. Most importantly, they gain a safe place to belong, make friends, feel supported and build trusted relationships with adults who care.

We offer mentoring at the heart of all our engagement, giving young people a consistent, trusted adult who can support them through challenges, build their confidence and help them stay connected to positive opportunities within the youth club.

We run regular workshops and life‑skills sessions covering the topics young people tell us they need most. This includes hygiene, anger management, grooming, knife crime, gangs, online safety, social media discussions and other real‑life issues they face every day.

We bring a wide range of sports and games into the youth club, giving young people space to stay active, build teamwork and enjoy positive, structured fun. From boxing and table tennis to group games and fitness challenges.

We provide free food at every session, giving young people a hot meal or snack while they’re with us, and the chance to take home donated groceries from local supermarkets to support their families.
Our adult‑focused workshops in Northbury Ward are designed to strengthen the support network around local young people. Parents, carers and frontline professionals often face complex challenges — from online risks to exploitation — and these sessions give them the knowledge, confidence and practical tools to respond early and effectively. Covering topics such as gang awareness, grooming, county lines, exploitation, online safety, social media and apps, and the manosphere, the workshops help adults spot warning signs, understand emerging trends and feel better equipped to keep young people safe. By empowering the adults closest to them, we create safer, more informed environments for young people to thrive.
Our youth‑focused workshops in Northbury Ward give children and young people the space, knowledge and confidence to stay safe and make positive choices. Through sessions on gang awareness, grooming, county lines, exploitation, online safety, social media and apps, and the manosphere, young people learn how to recognise risks, understand pressures they may face, and know where to turn for support. The workshops are interactive, relatable and designed to build resilience, boost wellbeing and help young people feel more informed, empowered and confident navigating the world around them.
We also offer open drop‑in sessions for anyone who may need extra guidance after attending a workshop, or for those seeking support at any time. These sessions provide a safe, confidential space to ask questions, get advice, explore concerns and receive signposting to the right services. Whether you’re a young person, a parent, a carer or a professional, you can drop in for practical guidance, reassurance and support whenever you need it.
